Herb Workshops
presented by Alana Haley of Roots and Wings Herbs in Ellsworth.
Alana, also an employee of Pine Hill Nursery, has been growing
herbs using organic methods on her farm in Ellsworth, and
previously her home in Chicago, for 16 years. She has been
presenting herbal workshops for 10 years. Alana has presented to
area garden clubs, for The Wagbo Peace Center and to gardeners
across Northern Michigan.
We hope you will join her for a workshop this growing season
right here at Pine Hill!

Make ‘n Take Fairy Garden

Fun for adults and their fairy-loving little ones. We’ll explore
fairy lore & make a charming
container garden to take home to tempt the fairy folk. Fee
includes one adult and one child.
Creative Cooking with Herbs
Saturday, September 13
Learn creative culinary ways of using up the herbs in your
garden before the frost nips and the snow flies. You’ll take
home a recipe booklet and custom mixed culinary herb blend.
The Wonders of Tea
Saturday, October 11
Learn about common herbs and their many
therapeutic uses. Create your very own wellness blend to take
home and enjoy.
Holiday Wreath Workshop
Saturday, December 6
Join me in making a wreath, swag, centerpiece
or kissing ball. Greens, cones, berries supplied. You’ll be
amazed at what you can create even if
you’ve never attempted it before!
If making a wreath, you supply the form;
grapevine wreath strongly suggested. A kissing ball requires
a baseball sized Styrofoam ball or grapevine wreath ball.
